I grew up in a household where dogs were not allowed. When I met a sweet creature on a spring walk, I immediately said that if we ever have a dog, it will only be this breed. Two years have passed and I started searching. I quickly forgot the name of the breed, but the image of this pretty girl was still in my mind. So I started searching the internet and quickly found what I was looking for. The search for suitable breeding began immediately afterwards.
I got my first bitch - Naomi Smartness (named Layla) from a renowned kennel with 30 years of experience. I heard a lot of positive reviews about the breeder, Małgorzata, among other things, that she puts a lot of heart and soul into what she does and loves all her dogs infinitely. All, regardless of their age. They have a good home, until the end of their days and beyond. I was lucky, because during the intensive search for a puppy, two were born in the Smartness family. I wished for a brown one but the puppies were all black :). Then I fell in love with my Layla. Since I got her we have developed a very strong emotional bond (we understand each other without words).
Smartness kennel organises family reunions of all dogs born there every year, so I went to the first one. Then... during this meeting, I brought the Pure Lady Smartness (in my case Amy-Lee). A beautiful brown bitch who chose me from the beginning by giving me her love. She immediately adjusted to my then crazy Layla and since then they form a great team of half-sister.
The name of my breed is derived from the abbreviations of the two names: AmyLay (Amy and Layla) and as they are the queens of my life the rest of the name speaks for itself. Breeding was never my goal, I wanted to love my dogs and give them a good life. We have done and achieved a lot: agility, relio-obiedence, dog shows with great performances. Then I started thinking about puppies because it seemed exciting and I knew we could do it. Amy gave me 9 beautiful puppies on April 1st, 2022 at the age of 6. And so began the story of my breeding...
